We had 15 windows and 1 slider replaced. The installation was unbelievable. Here at 9 done at 3. Additionally, any new window will be quieter than what we now have. I was told that if we decided to get an awning window that it would be from the Vanguard line and the quarter round windows would be as well.

Good installer, great price, excellent window. If you are worried about how dark the window is you can always go with a simple low-e glass. My second choice would be the Sunrise Vangaurd. Honestly no need to go beyond this. You have two of the very best vinyl windows on the market and good installers.

I had it installed abt 20 years ago, and I think it is a Wendco, which no longer exists, meaning getting the same size may be impossible. The fact is you won't recoup this money so you are not going to want to spend a lot of money. Get bids from Champion , Gilkey and Window World -- WW will be the least expensive and you should probably go with them as long as visually it makes sense.
Some WW have good reputations and offer lifetime warranties. Just make sure to give the new owner all the paperwork so that if something does happen down the road they will know who to go to.
